Fields§

§query_handler: ServerSqlQueryHandlerRef§auth_source: Option<Arc<PgUserProviderSource>>§copy_in_handler: CopyInHandlerRef§influxdb_handler: Option<InfluxdbLineProtocolHandlerRef>

Executes influxdb line-protocol batches flushed by a table-less COPY FROM STDIN — the same handler the HTTP write endpoints use. Absent on servers not wired for it; such connections reject the influxdb format when a copy starts.

§otlp_handler: Option<OpenTelemetryProtocolHandlerRef>

Executes the OTLP payload flushed by a table-less COPY FROM STDIN WITH (FORMAT otlp) — the same handler the OTLP/HTTP endpoints use — plus the with-metric-engine flag the HTTP wiring passes from its options.

§otlp_with_metric_engine: bool§force_tls: bool§auth_driver: AuthDriver<Arc<GreptimeDBStartupParameters>, UserInfoRef>§is_scram_auth: AtomicBool

SCRAM selected; failures get the uniform metric label.

§batching_enabled: bool§session: Arc<Session>§query_parser: Arc<DefaultQueryParser>§copy_in_state: Mutex<Option<CopyInState>>

State of an in-progress COPY ... FROM STDIN; set when the copy starts and taken when it finishes, fails or the connection drops.

Implementations§

Source§

impl PostgresServerHandlerInner

Source

async fn select_mechanism<C>(&self, client: &C) -> MechanismSelection
where C: ClientInfo + Sync,

Source§

impl PostgresServerHandlerInner

Source

pub(crate) async fn begin_copy_in( &self, stmt: CopyFromStdin, ) -> PgWireResult<Response>

Prepares a COPY FROM STDIN: resolves the target table, validates columns and stashes the per-connection copy state.

Source

async fn flush_copy_in(&self, state: &mut CopyInState) -> PgWireResult<u64>

Flushes the buffered payload of an in-progress copy. Returns the number of rows written by the flushed batch.

Source

async fn flush_otlp( &self, otlp_handler: &OpenTelemetryProtocolHandlerRef, options: OtlpOptions, bytes: Vec<u8>, query_ctx: QueryContextRef, ) -> PgWireResult<u64>

Completes an OTLP copy through the pipeline the matching OTLP/HTTP endpoint uses — the payload is decoded with the same protobuf types and handed to the same handler methods with the same context preparation, so both ingestion routes are identical. The context stays this connection’s postgres context apart from the signal-specific preparation below.

Source§

impl PostgresServerHandlerInner

Source

pub(super) fn new_query_context(&self) -> QueryContextRef

Creates a query context carrying this connection’s batching selection, so write paths can route through the pending-rows batcher when it is enabled.
