discord9 3692222c0f feat(promql): query native histograms through the native PromQL route ...

Admission reads the field's kind, the output column is typed by what the compiled tree answers, the reader follows the field kind, and the response writes the canonical histogram column. PromQL warnings reach the native kernels.
