Keep main's Lance beta.22 update and align the patched Arrow crate metadata while preserving the sliced-child validity fix. Validated workspace Clippy with warnings denied, 112 Arrow tests and 6 doctests, the nullable struct merge regression, 26 Python tests and the original reproducer, Node build/docs/lint with 518 tests, and source archive contents and dependency resolution. Root Ruff findings remain confined to the unchanged docs/web-tests directory.

(commit 72c5b645600bde5d2e0e0b629ed986e2018c62bf), licensed under Apache-2.0.
LanceDB carries a local fix in src/lib.rs for sliced child validity bitmaps
until a Lance release includes the fix. The patch is selected in the root
Cargo.toml; the rest of Lance stays on the pinned release. An explicit unsafe
block in src/bfloat16.rs lets this copy pass LanceDB's Rust 2024 warning gate.
