- Remove a few obsolete "allowed error messages" from tests. The
pageserver doesn't emit those messages anymore.
- Remove misplaced and outdated docstring comment from
`test_tenants.py`. A docstring is supposed to be the first thing in a
function, but we had added some code before it. And it was outdated, as
we haven't supported running without safekeepers for a long time.
- Fix misc typos in comments
- Remove obsolete comment about backwards compatibility with safekeepers
without `TIMELINE_STATUS` API. All safekeepers have it by now.
Adds prototype-level support for [Azure blob storage](https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/products/storage/blobs). Some corners were cut, see the TODOs and the followup issue #5567 for details.
Steps to try it out:
* Create a storage account with block blobs (this is a per-storage
account setting).
* Create a container inside that storage account.
* Set the appropriate env vars: `AZURE_STORAGE_ACCOUNT,
AZURE_STORAGE_ACCESS_KEY, REMOTE_STORAGE_AZURE_CONTAINER,
REMOTE_STORAGE_AZURE_REGION`
* Set the env var `ENABLE_REAL_AZURE_REMOTE_STORAGE=y` and run `cargo
test -p remote_storage azure`

Reorganize existing READMEs and other documentation files into mdbook
format. The resulting Table of Contents is a mix of placeholders for
docs that we should write, and documentation files that we already had,
dropped into the most appropriate place.
Update the Pageserver overview diagram. Add sections on thread
management and WAL redo processes.
Add all the RFCs to the mdbook Table of Content too.
