ZyyandCodex 61d1bcb405 refactor(api): standardize request parameters and trim unused options ...

Use data for POST bodies and params: data for GET queries. Remove request options that have no callers while retaining cancellation, timeout, and silent polling support. Update affected backup and client-download call sites and document the convention.
