Stalwart 1.0 refuses keywords over 128 bytes and more than 100
keywords on one message, per message in Email/set `notUpdated`; a
read-only shared folder refuses any keyword on every version. The app
stopped a large selection at the first refused batch, "mark folder as
read" ignored refusals, and the list's swipe, bulk and tag actions let
the rejection go unhandled, so nothing was said. The keyword sort
polarity verdict was stored per server address for a week, so a server
reinstalled as 1.0 (which sorts as the RFC says, where 0.16.8-0.16.22
invert) kept the old reading.
- Email/set writes send every batch before reporting the first refused
message, and "mark folder as read" marks the rest, then reports the
refusal. The list shows "Tagging failed" or "Failed to update email"
for swipe, bulk and tag actions, and the viewer's automatic
mark-as-read puts the message back to unread when it is refused.
- The sort polarity verdict is keyed by the server fingerprint as well
(stored as `keyword-sort-polarity:v2`), so a replaced or upgraded
server is probed afresh. An upgrade that leaves the capabilities
alone, such as 0.16.22 to 0.16.23, still waits out the week.
- Tests pin that Stalwart 1.0's `$hasattachment` / `$hasnoattachment`
never show as tags or as tags to recover; the app lists no other
keywords, and tag ids stay within 128 bytes by construction.
An "All folders" search or a tag view holds rows of the own and the
shared accounts, and Stalwart hands out ids per account, so an own and a
team message can share an id. The list still named its rows by bare id:
selecting one of such a pair selected both, a batch action hit both, and
a swipe or single-row action took whichever came first, in the other
account.
The list now names every row by `rowKeyOf` (its id, scoped by its
account in a list spanning accounts; the bare id in a folder, so nothing
changes there) end to end:
- FlatList keys, row presses, swipes, selection and select-all
- thread expansion of a selection (`expandThreadSelection`)
- every store action the list calls: read, unread, star, pin, the
per-account keyword batch, move, archive, delete and spam, and the
rows they drop or keep in view
- the viewer's pages, which now come only from the rows of the opened
message's account (`listRowsOfAccount`), and its mark-read, which
goes through the store when the list holds that account's row
A key whose row is no longer loaded is ignored rather than guessed onto
the open folder's account. The unified inbox already keys its rows by
account and needed no change.
"All folders" sent its Email/query only to the account of the open
folder, so mail in a shared (group) account the same login reaches never
showed up: "zephyr" found the 3 own messages and missed the 5 in the team
inbox, although that inbox sits right there in the sidebar.
The search now asks the own account and every shared account with
folders in the sidebar, like the webmail's `searchAcrossAccounts`:
- one request carries Email/query, Email/get and Thread/get for each
account (`queryEmailPagesAcrossAccounts`), and the pages are merged
under the list order
- each row is stamped with its JMAP account (`Email.jmapAccountId`), so
opening a hit opens it in that account and read, star, tag, archive,
delete, spam and move act there, filing into that account's own
Archive, Trash or Junk; one undo restores rows in every account
- "load more" continues each account from its own rows on screen rather
than one shared offset, which would skip messages of the account with
more hits
- an account that fails leaves the others' hits on screen with a notice
- a push for any account re-runs the search
- list keys, thread grouping and conversation sizes are scoped by
account, as JMAP ids are only unique per account
- deleting a hit judges Trash and Junk by the hit's own folders, not the
open folder, both for the move and for the permanent-delete confirm
A search scoped to one folder still asks only that folder's account.
