* test(run): smoke-test running and testing each language's fixture
smoke/run.test.ts drives the frontend's run store against a real
openidea-server for TypeScript, Python, Rust, Go, Java and Kotlin: the
detected configurations, a run to its output, the tests with the
fixture's failing test switched on (counts, failure name, location and
message in the test tree), and Rerun Failed Tests running only that test.
`pnpm smoke` runs it; the Language smoke workflow runs it per language
after the code intelligence smoke.
* ci(language-smoke): let main's runs finish
Merges to main came faster than a run, so each one cancelled the run
before it: main never finished the smoke nor saved the build cache PRs
restore. Only a PR's runs are superseded now.
JSP files had no highlighting and showed a `?` icon; the HTML mode left directives, scriptlets, JSP comments and EL as plain text and flagged `<c:out/>` / `<jsp:include/>` as unclosed elements.
- A JSP grammar layer (comments, directives, scriptlets, expressions, declarations, EL) with HTML and Java overlays, so markup split by JSP elements still nests and braces match across scriptlets.
- EL as its own grammar top: member/index/method calls, namespaced functions, keyword operators, ternaries, lambdas and collection literals.
- Block comments use `<%-- --%>` in markup and `//` in scriptlets; JSP comments and scriptlets fold.
- `.jsp .jspf .jspx .jsph .tag .tagf .tagx` map to the JSP language with a file icon; `gen:jsp-grammar` regenerates the parser and a test checks it matches the grammar.
Closes#870.

The CodeMirror stream modes for these languages consumed string templates as one string token. A shared wrapper now splits template delimiters ($name, ${...}, C# {...}) from literal text and tokenizes the embedded code with the language's own mode, keeping nested braces, strings, escapes and multiline state; shell parameter, command and arithmetic expansions get the same treatment. Delimiters use the existing special-brace scope. JS/TS, Python, PHP, Swift and Ruby already tokenized embedded code and are unchanged.
Fixes#379
HTML files in Angular projects were highlighted as plain HTML. Languages can now declare framework UI modes with root markers (angular.json, node_modules/@angular/core); files under such a root get the framework's editor mode, re-detected when a marker appears or disappears, and the root-marker lookup is shared with language server roots. The Angular Template mode (vendored @codemirror/lang-angular, MIT) adds @if/@for/@switch/@defer/@let blocks, key and animation binding names, and colours {{ }} delimiters.
Lazily loaded editor modes are now loaded before a document's first editor opens, so a file never renders as plain text first (this also left Angular templates uncoloured).

Adds knip (pnpm knip, knip.ts covering src, scripts, perf and e2e) and runs it in the CI frontend job. Removes what it reported: the unused codemirror and @types/dompurify dependencies, exports and test hooks used nowhere (AppLogo, Tooltip, barrel re-exports, duplicate default exports of lazily loaded settings pages), the unused iterateAll helper, and the zh entry for a deleted notification. rustfmt (used by lint-staged) is ignored as a toolchain binary.

Run oxlint --fix and oxfmt on staged files before each commit, and
rustfmt on staged Rust files. simple-git-hooks installs the hook from
its postinstall, allowed in pnpm-workspace.yaml.

Run oxfmt once over the whole repository (formatting only, no logic changes) and add `pnpm format:check` to the frontend CI job so unformatted code no longer builds up. `.oxfmtrc.json` now skips the generated theme docs, test fixtures and code blocks inside Markdown.

pnpm lint runs oxlint and pnpm format runs oxfmt: lint ~0.3s instead of ~20s, format check ~0.2s instead of ~11s, with far less memory. Configs come from the official migration tools (.oxlintrc.json from eslint.config.js, .oxfmtrc.json from the Prettier config); six new findings fixed or suppressed in 4 files. No code is reformatted.

Fenced ```mermaid blocks in the Markdown preview render as diagrams. mermaid (12.1.0) is loaded lazily, only when a preview contains a diagram, with securityLevel "strict"; colours come from the theme tokens and diagrams re-render on theme changes. Syntax errors show inline under the source. Rendered diagrams are cached by theme + source, so editing elsewhere in the file doesn't redraw them.

Built-in Vim emulation on @replit/codemirror-vim (approved dependency), modelled on IdeaVim: `vim.toggle` (Tools › Vim, status widget, Settings › Editor › Vim), mode widget (NORMAL / INSERT / VISUAL / V-LINE / V-BLOCK / REPLACE), IdeaVim-style shortcut conflict handlers (Vim / IDE per key) through a generic `registerKeyClaim()` in the keymap dispatcher, Escape closing popups first, a safe subset of ~/.openideavimrc / ~/.ideavimrc (set, map variants, mapleader, :action / <Action>()), Ex commands :w :wa :q :qa :wq :x :action. Covers file editors, diff editable side and merge result via a new `embeddedEditorExtensions` extension point.
Verified in the app on macOS: motions/operators, i/Esc/V mode widget, :w saves, Ctrl+R redoes in Vim without running Run, toggling off restores plain editing. Not verified on Windows/Linux.

Per the maintainer's decision for #24, no third-party themes are bundled; instead a theme plugin template and docs let the community port themes (IntelliJ also ships few themes, the rest are plugins).
- templates/theme-plugin: manifest-only plugin with an original example (Harbor Night) covering every UI token and an editor scheme (.icls equivalent).
- docs/plugins/themes.md: format, IntelliJ / VS Code porting tables, generated token reference (pnpm gen:theme-docs); drift test fails when tokens.css and the template/reference disagree.
- pnpm theme:import-intellij: dependency-free converter for IntelliJ .theme.json (+ .icls).
- Plugin host: themes may name an editor-scheme merged over the theme; comments allowed in theme files.
- Fixes: a plugin theme's kind now switches the light/dark base; plugin themes go in their own stylesheet so the Appearance accent and editor scheme still layer on top.
Verified: ide-plugin tests, vitest (44), in-app on macOS: installed the template from disk, applied Harbor Night (dark base + teal accent over Islands Light), back to default restored the light theme.

- ide-web: built-in static server on 127.0.0.1 that serves project files,
plus detection and launching of installed browsers.
- Open In › Browser in the editor, project view and tab menus; browser bar

The WebGL renderer rasterizes each glyph against its cell background, so
text over the selection came out at a visibly lighter weight than the
rest and looked like a different font. The DOM renderer draws text like
the editor does, selected or not.
