## #12644 

Dashboard panels let users pick a **unit** to format values (bytes,
seconds,
currencies, percent, etc.). This adds one new unit — **"Locale Format"**
— that
renders plain numbers with locale-aware thousand/decimal separators
using
`Intl.NumberFormat`, automatically driven by the user's selected UI
language.

Example for `1234567.89`:

| English (`en-gb`) | `1,234,567.89` |
| German (`de`) | `1.234.567,89` |
| French (`fr`) | `1 234 567,89` |
