* fix(computer): leave Linux and Windows windows in the background for accessibility actions
Element clicks no longer restore and activate the target window when an
AT-SPI action or UIA Invoke/SelectionItem/Toggle pattern handles them; only
the pointer fallback activates. On Linux, type-text and paste-text insert
into the focused editable field through AT-SPI EditableText without needing
window focus, and fall back to key synthesis or the clipboard otherwise.

* fix(computer): refuse pointer input after failed activation
* fix(computer): stop after unconfirmed text writes
* fix(computer): insert the full UTF-8 text on Linux
* test(computer): focus each Linux text-entry trial
* fix(computer): verify Linux text mutations before deletion
AT-SPI can acknowledge writes without changing text. Read back
mutation counts and caret state before reporting success.
* fix(computer): verify complete Linux text replacements
* fix(computer): decline unreadable Linux text selections
* feat(computer): drive macOS apps in the background by default
Clicks no longer activate and raise the target first. Pointer and key
input go to the target window's pid through a new BackgroundInputTransport:
mouse and scroll events carry the window id in field 51 and a window-local
location, keys run inside a focus-without-raise key-window scope, and
chords carry no Unicode string so menu key equivalents fire. Scroll and
drag now land (#27306); typed text no longer doubles in Electron (#17942).
The HID tap and focus fence stay for --restore-window only. Results
report action.delivery, the handshake reports supports.input.background,
and a missing private symbol or a popup click fails with
background_unavailable instead of falling back to the foreground.
* test(computer): read typed key strings back instead of diffing live-state events
* fix(computer): keep Unicode characters in one key event
* fix(computer): preserve active macOS key windows
Refuse key-window changes in the active app and surface failed
focus records, including cleanup after partially delivered input.
* fix(computer): guard macOS click routes before delivery
* fix(computer): let paste events read the clipboard
* fix(computer): classify clicks in the requested macOS window
* fix(computer): fence macOS scroll and drag recipients
* fix(computer-use): send correct named keys and hotkey letters on Linux
press_key passed the keysym for named keys (Return, Tab, arrows, Escape)
to AT-SPI as PRESSRELEASE, which expects a hardware keycode, so a
different key was pressed. Synthesize with SYM instead.
hotkey forwarded upper-case letters such as CmdOrCtrl+A to xdotool,
which reads them as shifted keysyms and sends Ctrl+Shift+A. Lower-case
single letters in key combinations.

* test(computer-use): drop the unreachable lone-key hotkey case

set_value looked up node.is_editable_text before attempt() ran. GI bindings
from at-spi2-core < 2.53 (e.g. Ubuntu 24.04) do not expose that function, so
the AttributeError escaped and every set-value failed. Probe with
get_editable_text_iface, which has been bound since 2.9.2 and checks the same
interface.

Enable eleven oxlint rules that simplify code without changing behavior, and fix
every existing violation. Each candidate was gated on measured cost rather than
assumption, so rules that regressed runtime performance or type checking were
dropped instead of suppressed.
typescript/no-redundant-type-constituents is the largest addition: 113 sites, no
autofix. Dead constituents are deleted. Where the redundant literal existed to
document intent (`string | 'all'`), it is preserved as `(string & {})`, which
keeps the autocomplete hint the original code was reaching for instead of
flattening it away. The rule also caught a broken import —
remote-shared-control-retirement-probe.ts pulled RuntimeStatus from
src/shared/types, which does not export it, so the type silently degraded to
`any`; no tsconfig covers that file, so tsc never saw it.
oxlint stays at 1.77.0 rather than 1.78.0 because .npmrc sets
minimum-release-age=4320 and 1.78.0 is younger than that window.
Rules evaluated and rejected, with what disqualified each:
- prefer-string-raw: String.raw is a runtime call, not a literal (184x slower)
- prefer-string-replace-all: 26% slower
- text-encoding-identifier-case: ~5% slower, reproducible
- prefer-spread: [...str] is 110% slower than split('') and differs on surrogates
- no-implicit-coercion: `!!x` narrows types and `Boolean(x)` does not (22 tsc errors)
- prefer-arrow-callback: arrows are not constructible, breaking `new` on mocks
- object-shorthand: rewrites source text asserted by a tracked reliability gate
- switch-case-braces: pushes ten files past max-lines, which cannot be suppressed
- no-useless-switch-case: drops `case undefined:` that switch-exhaustiveness-check needs
- arrow-body-style: 115 violations have no fix, and it breaks max-lines
- newline-after-import: false-positives on the leading-semicolon ASI idiom
electron-vite-output-contract asserted on the literal
Object.prototype.hasOwnProperty.call text; retarget it to Object.hasOwn, which
rejects inherited keys identically.
