The relay carried its own copies of the worktree-list and unmerged-entry
porcelain parsers, and both had drifted from the desktop originals: the
relay copy had no `sparse` branch, so SSH sparse checkouts were never
marked, and it never C-quote-decoded a conflict path, so a conflicted file
with a space or non-ASCII byte was published under its raw quoted name and
probed as missing.
Move both parsers into src/shared and delete the relay copies, so there is
one implementation each. Type the relay's worktree-list plumbing on
GitWorktreeInfo instead of Record<string, unknown> so a field-copying step
can no longer silently drop a newly parsed field.
`isSparse` is a new optional field on the git.listWorktrees result
(remote-wire-compatibility Rule 1); Git <2.28 omits the porcelain line and
the field stays absent. No new git subcommand or option.

Enable eleven oxlint rules that simplify code without changing behavior, and fix
every existing violation. Each candidate was gated on measured cost rather than
assumption, so rules that regressed runtime performance or type checking were
dropped instead of suppressed.
typescript/no-redundant-type-constituents is the largest addition: 113 sites, no
autofix. Dead constituents are deleted. Where the redundant literal existed to
document intent (`string | 'all'`), it is preserved as `(string & {})`, which
keeps the autocomplete hint the original code was reaching for instead of
flattening it away. The rule also caught a broken import —
remote-shared-control-retirement-probe.ts pulled RuntimeStatus from
src/shared/types, which does not export it, so the type silently degraded to
`any`; no tsconfig covers that file, so tsc never saw it.
oxlint stays at 1.77.0 rather than 1.78.0 because .npmrc sets
minimum-release-age=4320 and 1.78.0 is younger than that window.
Rules evaluated and rejected, with what disqualified each:
- prefer-string-raw: String.raw is a runtime call, not a literal (184x slower)
- prefer-string-replace-all: 26% slower
- text-encoding-identifier-case: ~5% slower, reproducible
- prefer-spread: [...str] is 110% slower than split('') and differs on surrogates
- no-implicit-coercion: `!!x` narrows types and `Boolean(x)` does not (22 tsc errors)
- prefer-arrow-callback: arrows are not constructible, breaking `new` on mocks
- object-shorthand: rewrites source text asserted by a tracked reliability gate
- switch-case-braces: pushes ten files past max-lines, which cannot be suppressed
- no-useless-switch-case: drops `case undefined:` that switch-exhaustiveness-check needs
- arrow-body-style: 115 violations have no fix, and it breaks max-lines
- newline-after-import: false-positives on the leading-semicolon ASI idiom
electron-vite-output-contract asserted on the literal
Object.prototype.hasOwnProperty.call text; retarget it to Object.hasOwn, which
rejects inherited keys identically.
* fix(worktrees): stop surfacing prunable git worktrees as live workspaces
A worktree still registered in git but whose directory was deleted
(git's `prunable` state) was enumerated as a normal workspace,
producing repeated pty:spawn DaemonProtocolError / fs:readDir ENOENT
loops and a blank pane.
- Parse the `prunable` porcelain field (Git >= 2.36) in both the main
and relay worktree-list parsers.
- For Git < 2.36 (no `prunable` field), probe each linked worktree
path for existence on the fallback line-block path, skipping locked
registrations to mirror git's own prunable rules.
- Omit prunable worktrees from the detected-workspace enumeration only;
removal/cleanup flows keep seeing them.
- Extend the real-binary compatibility contract with the 2.36
`prunable` boundary.

* fix(worktrees): pin the prunable/locked porcelain annotations to their real Git 2.31 boundary
The prunable and locked annotations landed in Git 2.31, five releases
before `worktree list -z` (2.36); only -z defines the capability
fallback boundary. Correct the compatibility contract so a future
matrix entry in the 2.31-2.35 range passes, and reword the fallback
comments: on 2.31-2.35 the annotations still parse and the existence
probe is a backstop; only Git <2.31 relies on it outright.
* fix(worktrees): omit prunable registrations from the Space scan
A prunable registration has no directory to size or reclaim, so Space
rendered it as a dead "Missing" row whose checkbox stayed disabled with
no prune/remove affordance (reported on macOS after a reboot cleared
/private/tmp under 16 registrations). Skip prunable entries in the scan,
matching the workspace enumeration; removal flows list worktrees
separately and still see them.

Upgrade oxlint 1.67.0 -> 1.71.0 (1.72 was blocked by the repo's 3-day
minimum-release-age supply-chain guard; nothing here needs it). The
bump is a no-op on the existing config.
Enable 3 error rules (backlog autofixed to zero in this commit) and
4 warn rules (surface signal without gating CI):
error (autofixed, behavior-preserving):
- unicorn/prefer-node-protocol (~1531 sites: bare builtin -> node:)
- typescript/no-import-type-side-effects (~36: all-inline-type -> import type)
- unicorn/no-array-reverse (19: copy-then-reverse -> toReversed)
warn (real signal, current fires are test-only/correct):
- unicorn/no-array-fill-with-reference-type (aliasing footgun guard)
- typescript/no-unsafe-function-type (bans bare Function type)

mobile/.oxlintrc.json extends root, so it inherits all 7; the autofix
ran from root and covered mobile/ too.
Verification (all green): oxlint 0 errors (root+mobile+aux configs),
oxfmt clean, typecheck (node+cli+web), vitest 22795 passed / 0 failed,
builds (electron-vite + web + cli) succeed. node: rewrites confirmed to
skip embedded SSH/CLI string payloads (AST-only); all toReversed sites
verified to operate on fresh copies or write-once locals.
* chore(lint): bump mobile oxlint to 1.71 so inherited rules parse
mobile/ is a standalone pnpm project pinning its own oxlint@1.67, which
lacks unicorn/no-array-fill-with-reference-type (needs >=1.70). Since
mobile/.oxlintrc.json extends the root config, mobile CI's 'cd mobile &&
oxlint' failed to parse the new rule. Bump mobile to match root (1.71).
Verified in mobile/: oxlint 0 errors, oxfmt --check clean, tsc --noEmit
pass, vitest 978 passed / 0 failed.

* Limit large git diff payloads in main process before IPC transfer
Move the large diff rendering limit check to a shared module so that
the main process can evaluate diff sizes before transferring them. If
a diff exceeds the limits, its text content is dropped prior to IPC
serialization, and only the limit metadata is sent. This prevents the
application from freezing or crashing when loading massive diff files.
* Gracefully handle and prune oversized files in diff viewer
Prevent UI freezes and out-of-memory errors when viewing or editing
extremely large diffs or files. Working-tree files above 10MB and git
buffer overflows are treated as binary. Text diffs exceeding safe
rendering limits have their contents pruned before IPC transport, and
the UI is updated to show fallback states and disable invalid saves.
* Document save action check for large diffs and fix test import
Explain why saveContentAvailable is required for oversized diffs, as
stripped text bodies before IPC prevent complete saves. Also update the
large-diff-render-limit import in E2E tests to use the shared path.
* Add per-file line counts to the source control sidebar
Show +N/-N (green/red) next to each file in the Changes, Untracked, and
Committed-on-branch sections so the magnitude of a change is visible at a
glance. Counts are computed per staging area via `git diff --numstat`;
untracked/new files count their full contents as additions and binary
files show no count.
Consolidate numstat parsing and binary-buffer detection into shared
modules reused by the local status path, the SSH/relay path, and the
existing branch-compare code. Include added/removed in the status-entry
equality check so the sidebar doesn't re-render on unchanged polls.
