* fix: label macOS dev Dock instances
* fix: keep dev badge visible in Dock labels
* chore: clean up dev identity plumbing
* feat: add stable-name dev command
* feat(telemetry): instrument on_path:false triage on onboarding_agent_picked
Adds path_source and path_failure_reason to onboarding_agent_picked so the
~30% on_path:false rate on dashboard 1562016 can be split between shell
hydration failures and genuinely-not-on-PATH cases before picking a fix.
See docs/agent-on-path-detection.md.

* fix(telemetry): close PathSource compile-time-sync hole
Add `_PathSourceSync` guard mirroring `_PathFailureReasonSync` so adding
a new `PathSource` value to the alias without updating the schema (or
vice versa) fails the build. Without it, drift would silently drop
`onboarding_agent_picked` at the strict validator. Also replace stale
line-number references in docs/agent-on-path-detection.md with named
function/handler references that survive future edits.

* fix(runtime): add single-instance lock + owned-metadata clear to prevent orca-runtime.json corruption
Closes#1312.
Every AppImage/.app relaunch was booting a fresh Electron main that clobbered
`<userData>/orca-runtime.json` and `agent-hooks/endpoint.env`. When the newest
instance quit, metadata pointed at a dead pid and `orca status` reported
`stale_bootstrap` even though the original Orca was still running. SIGKILL'd
predecessors also left orphaned `o-<pid>-*.sock` files in userData.
Three surgical changes:
1. `app.requestSingleInstanceLock()` in a new
`src/main/startup/single-instance-lock.ts` helper, wired into
`src/main/index.ts` after `configureDevUserDataPath(is.dev)` so dev and
packaged runs lock in separate namespaces. Losing instances focus the
primary's window via `second-instance` and quit without touching userData.
2. `clearRuntimeMetadataIfOwned(userData, pid, runtimeId)` in
`runtime-metadata.ts` — compares both pid AND runtimeId against the
current file before clearing, so the auto-updater handoff window never
erases the replacement process's fresh bootstrap. Called from a rewritten
`will-quit` handler that folds `runtimeRpc.stop()` + owned-clear into the
same `Promise.allSettled([disconnectDaemon, …]).then(app.quit)` chain
(inside the `!daemonDisconnectDone` guard so the second-pass re-entry
can't re-invoke stop+clear).
3. `sweepOrphanedRuntimeSockets()` in `runtime-rpc.ts` runs at the top of
`start()` on POSIX, using `process.kill(pid, 0)` to probe liveness and
remove `o-<dead-pid>-*.sock` orphans left by SIGKILL/OOM-kill.
Tests (37 new/updated):
- `single-instance-lock.test.ts` (3): lock-failed does not register listener;
lock-acquired registers exactly one; callback dispatches correctly.
- `runtime-metadata.test.ts` (+4): clearRuntimeMetadataIfOwned matched /
pid-mismatch / runtimeId-mismatch / no-file branches.
- `runtime-socket-sweep.test.ts` (4): own-pid-skip / alive-retain /
dead-sweep / regex-miss separated via synthetic ownPid=1; two
regex-invariant tests assert the sweep regex matches the real
`createRuntimeTransportMetadata` output (including the 'rt' fallback).

* fix(runtime): focus hidden windows on second-instance event
focus() alone is a silent no-op when the primary window is hidden
(close-to-tray on macOS via Cmd+W, or on a different macOS Space) or
behind other apps on Windows. Call show() before focus() so a second
launch attempt reliably surfaces the existing window regardless of
state.

* fix(agents): detect opencode/pi CLIs installed under ~/.opencode/bin and ~/.vite-plus/bin
Packaged Electron inherits a minimal PATH without shell rc files, so
agent install-script fallback dirs stay invisible to `which` probes —
the Agents settings page then shows OpenCode/Pi as "Not installed"
even when the user can run them from Terminal.
Add ~/bin, ~/.opencode/bin, and ~/.vite-plus/bin to the packaged PATH
augmentation so preflight detection matches shell behavior.
Fixes#829
* feat(agents): hydrate PATH from user's login shell + Agents Refresh button
Packaged Electron inherits a minimal launchd PATH that misses whatever
the user's shell rc files append — ~/.opencode/bin, ~/.cargo/bin, nvm
shims, pyenv, custom tool dirs. The preceding commit hardcoded two known
install locations; this replaces that whack-a-mole pattern with a
generic approach.
On packaged startup (non-Windows), spawn `${SHELL} -ilc 'echo $PATH'`
with a 5s timeout, parse the delimited PATH, and prepend any new
segments to process.env.PATH. The result is cached for the app session
so we pay the shell-init cost at most once.
Surface a Refresh button in Settings > Agents that forces a re-probe
and re-detects installed agents — handy right after installing a new
CLI, no restart needed.
Live-verified that a `zsh -ilc` spawn with a minimal launchd-style env
still resolves the user's full PATH (32+ segments including the
rc-appended dirs).
* refactor(hydrate-shell-path): simplify dedup with Set + Set.difference
Set preserves insertion order, so PATH first-match-wins semantics are
preserved without manual tracking. Set.prototype.difference (Node 22+)
expresses the new-segments calculation in mergePathSegments as the
set-difference operation it always was.
Extract main process into focused modules (startup, window, menu, IPC
registration) and decompose the monolithic Terminal component into
TerminalShell, useTerminalTabs, useTerminalShortcuts, and
useTerminalSaveDialog hooks.
