Neil be2a457b95 Merge origin/main into nwparker/split-term-delay ...

Resolved src/renderer/src/components/terminal-pane/use-terminal-pane-lifecycle.ts:

- main moved live PTY layout binds onto syncPanePtyLayoutBindingForLeaf
  (connect-pane-pty.ts prefers it when present, and TerminalPane supplies it).
  The deferred-split bind-settle side effect now lives in one helper that both
  binding variants call, so a bind still clears the handoff and the cwd fence.
- main added cancelQueuedTerminalPaneSplitRequests under the worktree-scoped
  meaning of tabStillExists, which this branch had widened to a global check.
  Kept both: tabRemainsInWorktree gates the cancel, the global tabStillExists
  gates deferred-handoff retention across a rehome.
