3000 cycles x 64KiB output per series on macOS arm64. Natural series
sawtooths in an 86-152MB band; forced-GC floor plateaus at ~79MB
(+400KB across the entire second half); one post-run full GC returns
RSS to 61MB, below the 64MB start. kqueues flat at 4, fds flat at 52.
Verdict: bounded retention, no unbounded leak signature.
