Add managedSkillAutoUpdateEnabled (default on) and a background batch that updates only already-managed, unmodified destinations on the local host. The main-process handler gates on the persisted setting and build authority, declines silently, coalesces duplicate triggers, and records failures durably; a failed destination surfaces as update-failed and is never retried automatically. An always-mounted renderer runner reuses the shared inventory cache, requests one batch per bundled release, and shows one aggregated success toast. Settings gains an "Update automatically" switch, and copy across the section, setup panels, and adoption nudge now describes automatic updates. Skill IPC host-context and write-authorization plumbing moves into named modules, and the skill-detection E2E pins the management inventory instead of reading the developer's real skill homes.
