Brennan Benson 6c063f7952 Merge origin/main into mobile-floating-workspace-8405 ...

Resolved two conflicts from main's repo-wide comment-condensing pass:
- host index.tsx: kept the status.get logic in useHostStatusGates (this
  branch extracted it) rather than main's reformatted inline effect.
- session screen: kept isFloatingWorkspaceRoute alongside main's new
  inline comment on isFolderWorkspaceRoute.
Condensed the new floating-workspace / host-status-gates comments to match
the tightened house style.
