fix/workspace-codename-rename
Every workspace a window creates is handed a generated name so the machine tree and `tty7 ws ls` have something to call it, while the window itself reads the directory its shells are working in. The window is left out of the deltas its own edits raise, so it is never told which codename it got: its mirror carries the workspace unnamed, and the first pull of the whole tree — a daemon restart, a rebuild, or the next launch — handed that codename to the workspace chip and stamped it into views.json from there. The same pull costs the window its directory. Pane records ride inside the deltas a window is excluded from, so a pane it restored sits in its mirror's tabs with no record behind it; the daemon fills the gap only when some fact later changes, and a pane restored with the cwd it will keep changes nothing. The window had nothing left to derive a name from either way. A generated name is now the placeholder it always was: it names the workspace in the tree and to the CLI, but on screen only a name someone chose outranks the directory, and the directory is read through the subject the entry already remembers, which a rebuild no longer clears. A workspace with no directory to borrow still reads its codename rather than "Untitled".
tty7
A terminal workbench: persistent sessions, remote work, agents.
Pure Rust · GPU rendering on Zed's gpui · VT core from Alacritty

Why
- Performance — ~2× the throughput of Alacritty, Ghostty, or Kitty (benchmarks)
- Persistent sessions — quit or reboot; your shells and supported agent sessions keep running, no tmux
- Editor-grade input — suggestions, completion, highlighting, history search
- Remote development — files, repos, panes, and git data stay on the remote machine
- Native SSH — profiles, SFTP, port forwarding, and jump hosts
- Agent-aware — Claude Code, Codex & co.: status, notifications, git context
- CLI + Skills — agents create panes, run commands, and inspect output
