* feat: make send-time optimization actually schedule sends, instead of being a documented setting with no caller: advanced.OptimizeSendTime had zero call sites anywhere in the codebase, so an org that enabled send_time_optimization through PATCH /outreach/settings changed nothing about when its campaign mail left, and the API reference said so in a callout; the campaign scheduler now resolves the recipient's timezone from the contact's timezone custom field, then the country-code suffix of its email domain, then the org fallback, and holds the slot until that clock reaches a preferred hour, raising hardFloor so the task handler reschedules rather than sending immediately, the snap is forward-only and never crosses the campaign end date, the default flips to off so no existing workspace silently re-times its sends, and Settings > Sending gives the block its first UI * feat: stop the recipient-hour gate deferring a send forever, and fix the window parser that silently disabled every campaign schedule: recipientSlot now searches for a moment BOTH calendars accept and yields when they never meet, because raising a hard floor at an hour the sender cannot serve made every tick re-derive it, defer, wake in the sender's window and defer again; separately parseTimeOfDay accepted only the 15:04 layout while start_time, end_time, warmup_start_time and warmup_end_time are Postgres time columns pgx renders as 09:00:00.000000, so every read parsed to 0 and effectiveWindows read that as unconstrained, leaving both the campaign sending window and its day-of-week gate off for every campaign on the legacy fields and pinning warmup to its 08:00-20:00 fallbacks; Settings > Sending also gains the MANAGE_SETTINGS gate a direct visit needs

How it works
Warmbly splits into a control plane (backend API, consumer, Postgres, Redis, and the event bus) that owns all state, and an execution plane of interchangeable Go workers that send and sync mail. Workers never touch Postgres, and outbound mail leaves through each mailbox's own provider, not the worker's IP, so you add throughput by running more workers.

Secrets use envelope encryption, with a local AES master key by default or AWS KMS if you prefer. Full write-up in the architecture docs.
Quick start
You need Docker, Go 1.25, and pnpm.

make dev
Open http://localhost:5173 and log in with dev@warmbly.com / password123;
the login code lands in Mailpit at http://localhost:18025. Every make target,
the native services, and how seeding works are in the
local development guide.
Warning
make devandmake upshare one database, and seeded fixture accounts claim the instance. Planning to self-host from the same machine? Read first run first.
Self-hosting
Warmbly runs with no cloud account of any kind: no AWS, no GCP, no Stripe, no Kafka. One command brings up the whole platform on local, open-source pieces:

make up
That is the whole install: make up waits for the backend and prints a one-time
link that claims the instance and makes you its admin. You need Docker with
Compose v2 and about 10 GB of free disk. If anything looks wrong, make doctor
prints the instance state and every failing check.

covers the rest: your own secrets, production hardening, mail and single
sign-on, HTTPS, connecting Gmail and Microsoft mailboxes, scaling workers, and
backups. Account recovery and every operator command live in
warmblyctl, the CLI baked
into the backend image; it talks to the database directly, so it works when
